- Bignamie. Lovely and stylish picture galore on this
Italian site for 'ecofurs' (sounds much too healthy to be fun, but this is
really my favourite fake fur site). I'll bet there are some fake-hating
self-declared fur experts among us who still treasure some pictures from this
site in their collection. Anyhow, there are worse things in live than
strolling through a wintery Venice with an Italian
model on your arm , especially if she's wearing one of those big sleeved
chubbies from this site. Until that time, we'll have to do with the pictures
here, and don't miss out on
the galleries of previous years! New March 16
1999. Update posted January 22
2002 (June 4 2001)
(HackJack SSFF).
-
Blümlein & Lang,
Germany, wholesale firm selling fake fur fashion. Small site, but very
attractive pictures (one clickable on thumbnail every page). New entry August
24 2001 (August 21 2000). (Jaco)
- BMH Fashions. Do bridal gowns and fake furs.
Rather disappointing front door page. One picture of a fake trimmed coat.
New entry March 11 2000 (July 29 1999).
- Charly Calder, (second address)
Designer and Shop. Has a great male and female fake fur fashion collection,
and the site gives you a good idea of their collection. Also online
ordering. New entry January 15 (9) 2000.
- Canasport Paris. New address and very much under
construction.
- Cherubini. A few nice pictures and coats. New entry April 6 2001
(October 25 2000).
- Fur Dariali. After you pass the front page, the
talk and the looks are about fur ... quite confusing. Nice material. New
entry March 11 2000 (December 30 1999).
- Donna Salyer's Fabulous Fakes. In its earliest incarnation this
business was online as early as anything fur. After a period of being away,
the site and the collection are back, and they've never been better. I've
never had one of Donna's coats in my hands, but the pictures look
convincing to say the least. A admirable effort to try to combine a stance
on the AR issue with the good things of fur. They've even included that
romantic & practical purse- disguised-as-muff idea from the 30s.
Update posted March 23 (18) 2000. (Elli SSFF)
- Evolutionary Furs. A fake fur collection by Oleg Cassini.
Wether you like fake fur or not, there are some genuinely nice designs here.
New June 27 2000 (October 29 1999).
- Fluffy
Fings. Update December 2 1996.
- Fur & Furgery, New York, USA. Long hair fake furs. A
beautiful faux white mink serape, but the other pictures are rather small
(thumbnails because of 'Under construction'?). Oddly, the faux and the real
thing are combined. Interesting collection, hope this site will be
completely ready soon. There is also a fur-using designerlist with links to
their Firstview pages. Very practical. New entry September 16 (1) 1999.
- Zoe Green. Luxury fake fur blankets. New entry April 6 2001
(October 23 2000).
- Iglessis, Thessaloniki. I'm not sure if this is just
a designer or if he runs a shop too, but have a look at the pictures. His
'ecological' furs look quite tempting. New entry September 16 1999 (December
2 1998).
- L'Innovation. A Dutch shop for
wedding dresses. Some have nice fake fur trims; also try this
one
by Chanel. New November 8, 1998.
- Lana Collection. A fashion store with a
separate fake fur collection. New March 11 2000 (December 20 1999).
- Thierry Laurent. Mid range (I'm referring to price here,
don't get me wrong) fake furs. Apart from the 'mannequin pictures' there
nice, stylish pictures with real models, if you happen to like fake fur.
Update posted December 17 (June 27) 1999 (FK).
- Lellandrea Furs. Two pages of
pictures, but either coats only (second page) or very small if worn by
actual people. The coats do look nice though. Updated July 23 1998. Offline.
- National Fiber
Technologies. Fake fur and fiber
for wigs and funny costumes. New April 17 1999 (July 24 1998).
-
Shop NBC, USA. The
outerware department has quite a number of nice fake fur coats. New entry
January 25 2002. (Dranoel)
